Your Father Knows
“Where have you been praying as if God is unaware, uninterested, or late?“
One of the most comforting truths about God’s provision is that He knows before we ask. Matthew 6:8 says, “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” That does not mean we stop praying. It means we stop panicking like we are informing God of something He missed. Psalm 139 says He knows when we sit and when we rise, and He perceives our thoughts from afar. Matthew 6:32 says your heavenly Father knows that you need these things. This is not distant awareness. This is personal care. Your need is not hidden from Him. Your pressure is not invisible. Your thoughts, fears, bills, responsibilities, and limits are fully known. Many of us pray from the fear that God has forgotten us, but Jesus invites us to pray from the confidence that the Father already knows. You are not begging a careless God to pay attention. You are coming to a Father who has already seen the need, measured the season, and knows what is good.
Now sit with this honestly, where have you been praying as if God is unaware, uninterested, or late, and what changes when you believe the Father already knows?
Let this settle in you, my Father knows what I need. I am seen, remembered, and cared for.
And if panic keeps rising, pray this, Father, calm the panic in me that believes I must carry everything alone. Help me pray from confidence, not fear, because You already know my needs.
Let the song of the day carry this deeper, and remember this, provision begins with being known.
Question
What changes in your prayer life when you believe the Father already knows?
Matthew 6:8 (KJV)
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Supplementary Scriptures
Psalm 139:1–4
O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Matthew 6:32
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Father, calm the panic in me that believes I must carry everything alone. Help me pray from confidence, not fear, because You already know my needs.
My Father knows what I need. I am seen, remembered, and cared for.

Who Do You Believe God Is?
“Who do you believe God is when you are in need?“
Before we talk about money, debt, ambition, contentment, or the pressure to max out our lives, we have to begin with the deeper question: who do you believe God is when you are in need? Hebrews 11:6 says that anyone who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. That means faith is not only believing God is real. It is believing He is good, attentive, and worth trusting. Psalm 34:8 invites us to taste and see that the Lord is good, while Philippians 4:19 reminds us that God supplies according to His riches in glory, not according to our panic. Many of us confess God as Provider, but expect abandonment. We sing that He is Father, but approach Him like a stranger. We say He is enough, but live like fear is our source. This journey begins by letting God correct our perception of Him. Your view of God will shape your version of enough.
Now sit with this honestly, who do you believe God is when you are in need, and what does your current expectation from God reveal about how you truly see Him?
Let this settle in you, I believe God is Provider, and I will allow His Word to reshape my expectations.
And if fear has been louder than faith, ask for help, Lord, show me where my view of You has been shaped by fear, disappointment, lack, or delay. Teach me to see You as You truly are and rebuild my trust in Your goodness, care, and provision.
Let the song of the day carry this deeper, and remember this, provision begins with believing the Provider.
Question
What does your current expectation from God reveal about how you truly see Him?
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Supplementary Scriptures
Psalm 34:8
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Lord, show me where my view of You has been shaped by fear, disappointment, lack, or delay. Teach me to see You as You truly are and rebuild my trust in Your goodness, care, and provision.
I believe God is Provider, and I will allow His Word to reshape my expectations.

Chained and Unhindered
“What chains in your life have you allowed to define or limit you?“
Limitations do not stop what God has started. In Book of Acts 28:16–31, Paul is physically restricted, but the message continues to move. 2 Timothy 2:9 makes it clear that the Word of God is not chained, and Philippians 4:11–13 shows that strength comes from Christ, not circumstance. The environment may change, but the assignment does not. Many people allow their limitations to define what is possible, but God’s purpose is not confined by conditions. You may feel restricted, but what God has placed in you is not. The question is whether you will focus on what is holding you back or what God is still doing through you.
Reflect and answer this honestly, what chains in your life have you allowed to define you, and how would your perspective change if you believed your limitations were no match for God’s purpose?
Declare this, my chains do not define my call. The gospel moves through me, unhindered and unstoppable.
Let this be our prayer, Lord, let the last word over my life be “unhindered.” No chain, no circumstance, no opposition will stop what You have started in me.
As you listen to the song of the day, remember this, God’s purpose moves forward regardless of the conditions.
Question
Who in your life is in the middle of a storm and needs to hear that they are going to make it?
Acts 28:16–31 (KJV)
16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.
17 And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
18 Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.
19 But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.
22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.
30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
Supplementary Scriptures
2 Timothy 2:9
Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
Philippians 4:11–13
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Lord, let the last word over my life be ‘unhindered.’ No chain, no circumstance, no opposition will stop what You have started in me.
My chains do not define my call. The gospel moves through me — unhindered, unstoppable, free.

Every Single Person Made It
“When you look at the storms in your life, do you trust that God’s word over you still stands?“
Storms test what you believe. In Book of Acts 27:1–44, everything looks uncertain, the situation is unstable, and the outcome seems unclear. But there is a word, and that word holds. Nahum 1:7 reminds us that God is a refuge in trouble, and Deuteronomy 31:6 assures us that He does not leave or abandon us. The storm is real, but it is not final. What matters is what you hold onto when everything around you is shifting. Paul speaks with confidence, not because of the conditions, but because of what God has said. And in the end, every single person makes it. This is what trust looks like. Not the absence of difficulty, but confidence in the middle of it.
Now sit with this honestly, when you look at the storms in your life, do you trust that God’s word over you still stands, and who in your life needs to hear that they are going to make it?
Speak this, I will make it through this. God’s word does not fail and His presence does not leave.
Let this be your prayer today, Lord, speak into the storms around me. Let Your peace stand louder than the wind. Help me trust that Your promises will hold.
As you listen to the song of the day, remember this, what God has spoken will carry you through.
Question
Who in your life is in the middle of a storm and needs to hear that they are going to make it?
Acts 27:1–44 (KJV)
And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus’ band.
2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
3 And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.
4 And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
5 And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.
6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.
7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;
8 And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.
9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,
10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.
12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.
13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.
16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.
18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;
19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.
23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;
28 And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.
29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.
37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
42 And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

I will make it through this. God’s word does not fail and His presence does not leave.

You Can’t Argue With It
“Is your personal story with God something you are willing to share openly?“
There is a kind of evidence that cannot be debated. In Book of Acts 22–23, Paul stands before opposition and shares his story. He does not rely on argument alone, he points to what has happened in his life. 1 Peter 3:15 calls us to be ready to give an answer, and Revelation 12:11 reminds us that testimony carries power. Your story is not secondary, it is central. People can question ideas, but it is harder to dismiss transformation. The challenge is that many hold back what God has done in them, either out of fear or uncertainty. But your story is not just for you. It is a bridge for someone else to see what is possible.
Answer this honestly, is your story with God something you are willing to share openly, and what part of your testimony have you been holding back that someone may need to hear?
Declare this, my story is my strongest witness. What God has done in me cannot be argued away.
Let us pray, Lord, give me boldness to share my story. Let my testimony become someone else’s turning point.
As you listen to the song of the day, remember this, what God has done in you is meant to be seen and shared.
Question
What part of your testimony have you been holding back that someone may need to hear?
Acts 22–23 (KJV)
22 Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
2 (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
5 As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.
7 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
17 And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;
18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
20 And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.
23 And as they cried out, and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the air,
24 The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him.
25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned?
26 When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.
27 Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea.
28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.
29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.
30 On the morrow, because he would have known the certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him from his bands, and commanded the chief priests and all their council to appear, and brought Paul down, and set him before them.
23 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God’s high priest?
5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
15 Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
16 And when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
18 So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
19 Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
20 And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
23 And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
24 And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
25 And he wrote a letter after this manner:
26 Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting.
27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
28 And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council:
29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds.
30 And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
31 Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris.
32 On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle:
33 Who, when they came to Caesarea and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
34 And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
35 I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod’s judgment hall.

He Walked Straight Into It
“Is there a call on your life that you’ve been avoiding because of what it might cost you?“
Purpose will eventually require a decision. In Book of Acts 20:17–38, Paul is fully aware of what is ahead, and he moves forward anyway. This is not blind faith, it is chosen obedience. Philippians 1:21 reminds us that life and death both belong to Christ, and Isaiah 43:2 assures us that God is present even in difficulty. The challenge is not always knowing what to do, but choosing to do it when it comes with a cost. Many people delay obedience because they are trying to avoid discomfort, but purpose does not adjust to convenience. At some point, you either step into what God has called you to or you continue to circle around it.
Reflect on this honestly, is there a call on your life that you have been avoiding because of what it might cost you, and what does surrender look like in the most difficult area of your life right now?
Repeat this, I will not let the cost of obedience stop me. My purpose is worth more than my comfort.
Say this prayer Lord, give me the kind of faith that walks toward hard things. Let my surrender be complete, not conditional.
As you listen to the song of the day, remember this, purpose is proven in what you choose, not what you say.
Question
What does surrender to purpose look like in the most difficult area of your life right now?
Acts 20:17–38 (KJV)
17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
37 And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,
38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
Supplementary Scriptures
Philippians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Lord, give me the kind of faith that walks toward hard things. Let my surrender be complete, not conditional.
I will not let the cost of obedience stop me. My purpose is worth more than my comfort.

Power You Can’t Fake
“Are you relying on methods, formulas, or proximity to anointing instead of a real relationship with God?“
Real power cannot be imitated. In Book of Acts 19:11–20, people try to use the name of Jesus without knowing Him, and it fails publicly. The result is exposure. This moment draws a clear line between imitation and relationship. John 15:5 reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing, and 2 Timothy 3:5 warns about having the appearance of power without the reality of it. Methods, formulas, and proximity to spiritual things can look convincing, but they do not carry authority. Authority comes from relationship. If your connection to God is shallow, it will eventually show. This is not about performance, it is about authenticity. What is real will stand under pressure, what is not will be exposed.
Now sit with this honestly, are you relying on methods or proximity instead of a real relationship with God, and is there any area of your life where you have been going through the motions?
Say this as grounding truth, I carry the real thing. My authority in Christ comes from relationship, not imitation.
Lord, let there be nothing performative about my faith. I want the real power that only comes from walking closely with You.
As you listen to the song of the day, remember this, what is not rooted in relationship will not stand.
Question
Is there any area of your spiritual life where you’ve been going through the motions?
Acts 19:11–20 (KJV)
11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
2 Timothy 3:5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Lord, let there be nothing performative about my faith. I want the real power that only comes from walking closely with You.
I carry the real thing. My authority in Christ comes from relationship, not imitation.
